My name's Alejandra
I go by Ale or Olive for short.
Hi!
About Me:
I'm a millennial, I love music and I play in several bands around town, and I've been working in healthcare in different capacities for more than 15 years
I earned my master's degree in forensic psychology from UHV (now Texas A&M Victoria) in 2020 and I've been working in the forensic psychology field and psychometrics for ever since.

Several years ago, I found myself in a weird predicament- I had stumbled into a bunch of free time I didn't have before. And this was mainly because I had less work, which meant less money. I wondered what free things I could do with all this new found free time, and I decided that my best bet was to enhance my skill set with something I love- tech!
I took a bunch of free courses and read everything I could find about coding and UX research, and started one of my life long dreams of coding a Gameboy video game. I built a decibel reader for my music room to help keep me from annoying my neighbors. I started building a Dungeons and Dragons board out of an old 3-D printer so I could play long distance with my best friend in Virginia. And AI was exploding, which was really helpful in the process of moving through these projects that I always thought were way above my head.
During this time, I realized that tech and coding was really fun and interesting, and something I really enjoyed doing, but I'd see how burnt out my tech friends were from their corporate nightmare jobs, and it really deterred me from pursuing it as a career. I thought instead, there's a million ways I could integrate tech into the work I do already, and set out to do that.

Omnibox is an app I created to help forensic psychologists with report writing, assessment, discovery summarization, and transcription.
If I think of when Omnibox actually started, it must have been 2022. I found an AI transcriber, and at the time the software was not great. But I believed in it; I knew in a few years it was going to be amazing.
One of the first iterations that was useable was administering and scoring free-use assessments. I started using this regularly. And then I started the arduous process of trying to train local AI to write reports. During the time I started doing that, AI was just EXPLODING; it felt analogous to me trying to pedal on an old cruiser bike up a steep hill while everyone was just blowing past me in their Ferraris.
After a ton of work, I finally had something I could show to the psychologists I worked with, who I have to thank for believing this could exist beyond the confines of just one practice. I started investing in myself, and went all in. I've started saying it out loud:
I've built a HIPAA compliant app that can transcribe, summarize, write, administer testing, score, and I even set it up to accept payments through our system.
Now's the part where I get to start sharing this with other practices, and I've never done anything quite like this before. But I've been administering neuropsychological assessments and assisting in writing reports since 2018 for several different kinds of practices. I have a master's degree in forensic psychology. Where tech wizards will out maneuver me ends where what a practice actually needs starts.
If you're willing to invest in me for only $200 a month, I can implement this software into your office and shave a ton of hours off of your workload.
